She Went Missing:
On 24 April 2012, Sheena took a time away and "sent in her composed abdication". Around the same time, Rahul Mukerjea got a separation SMS from Sheena's telephone. Her mom, Indrani, said that Sheena had gone to the United States for higher studies and consequently a missing First Information Report was never recorded. Sheena was never seen after April 24, 2012.


On Rahul's request, police went to Indrani's Worli habitation where they were educated by the staff that Indrani was out of India. Discovery Of Death

Police said that after the homicide, Sheena's body was taken to Indrani's home on Worli where it was placed in a pack and stuffed in the boot of the auto. Khanna later left for his inn while Indrani stayed home and Rai rested inside the auto with the body in the boot. That night (the early morning of 25 April 2012), the three blamed headed to the town for Gagode in Pen tehsil, Raigad.
